Earlier this month, Melissa Gorga and her family moved into their new home which they custom-built and the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star has been sharing small updates and glimpses of her new home since then. The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime in early 2023. Melissa also shared a clip of her breakfast nook, which features an arched ceiling, tons of windows, French doors, and a unique light fixture.

Several fans wrote that while the foyer was gorgeous, they weren’t “crazy” about the chandeliers. Although their house is still in the construction process, Melissa already has big ideas for the decor. Although the initial home was made up of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, Melissa revealed that they were planning on deconstructing the property and designing a new home on the land to their liking. Meanwhile, the Gorgas purchased a new family home in Franklin Lakes, which they closed on June 15 for $950,000, property records show. Their second Toms River vacation home was recently listed on Sept. 7 for $2.9 million — the same day they gave their other property a price cut.

In a recent Instagram post, Melissa revealed that her eldest daughter, Antonia, was adapting to her new high school after the big move. As for Melissa and Joe’s current residence, the couple is said to be in the midst of construction on a home they purchased in June for $950,000. Although it is unclear when the project will be complete, it is expected to have six bedrooms and three bathrooms. According to the Post, Melissa and Joe bought a lot in Paterson in 2018 for $149,000, flipped the property after rendering the design seen below, and listed for $525,000 in August.

Additionally, property records show they took another $500,000 loan to build the home, bringing total costs to $1.44 million. The lot they bought in 2018 in Paterson, NJ, so that they can build a townhouse. This listing is a bit more interesting, as they only purchased the home two years ago — in July 2019 — for $975,000. The Gorgas even attempted to rent out the place a few times in hopes to have some consistent money coming in. But because they took out so many loans against the property, they would’ve still owed the bank about $1.5 million after interest during that period, records show.

Whilst the property is under construction the husband and wife are staying in a rental near the location.
